Jennifer's fifth EP with arrangements of Celtic melodies and lyrics that transcend traditional Celtic instrumentation. She shares her expressive interpretation of songs she collected while living in Scotland and then Ireland. On Jennifer Licko’s debut CD entitled “Cave of Gold,” she takes a fresh approach to some of the most beautiful Scottish music ever recorded. The warmth and clarity of her voice are equally evocative whether she’s singing an achingly sad romantic ballad or a more upbeat tune.

Celtic Moonsongs

‘Celtic Moonsongs’ are well-loved lullabies arranged in a Celtic style. This acoustic lullaby recording has pure vocals with soft guitar and fiddle instrumentation. The tender sounds on the guitar and warm tones on the fiddle, create a soft bed for Jennifer’s pure and soothing vocals. The overall sound of the CD is relaxing and restful to help sooth any baby into a peaceful Celtic slumber.

Language of the Gaels

2003

To experienced first hand the roots of Irish music, Jennifer moved to the rugged West Coast of Ireland for two years of playing music in the pubs and living the culture of small town Ireland. Language of the Gaels is Jennifer's recording in collaboration with Irish Musician Alan chapman, from Donegal. It is a collection of Irish & Scottish songs and traditional tunes on the Irish Penny whistle.

Not That Girl

Jennifer's only beach music EP which was actually inspired by her upbringing in Eastern NC where Beach music & shaggin is a part of the culture. However, don't be fooled, there is an Irish connection! One of the tracks, 'Loved To Be Loved', was written By Irish musicians Brendan Monaghan and David Ballentine.

singleCan't Help Loving, is a collaboration by Jennifer Licko and the Ricky Godfrey band out of Nashville, Tennessee. It was recorded for the compilation CD 'Love, Laugh and Live' from the American soul label One20Inc, and was released in April of 2004.
